Description:
Epistemology is one of the most studied disciplines in analytic philosophy, and the topics and problems it addresses are increasingly wide and diverse. The recent developments of epistemology shed new light on the old epistemological problems, find exciting new problems, and offer new ingenious arguments in the debates. However, the achievements and developments of epistemology are relatively unknown to Japanese philosophers. This is the first international workshop on analytic epistemology in Japan. The workshop aims at introducing the the cutting-edge research of recent epistemology and stimulating discussion on the new & old epistemological problems in the light of it.

The workshop is open to everyone, and no registration is required. However, if you’d like to join dinner on Feb 14th, please sign up for it via the website bellow (by the first week of Feb).
