About the Philosophical Association of Japan
Constitution and Executive Committee
The Philosophical Association of Japan seeks to promote the study of philosophy and active interaction among researchers from philosophy, working as a forum to discuss on research, education and the role of philosophy in the modern world.
At an annual conference papers are read by individual members as well as by invited speakers for symposia, co-ordinated discussions and workshops. Many of these are published in the Association’s journal 『哲學』 (Philosophy (Tetsugaku): Annual Review of the Philosophical Association of Japan).
